JP Concrete At The 2014 Royal Cornwall Show
It’s been a busy period for us recently but some of the JP Concrete team managed to take time out in June to visit the 2014 Royal Cornwall Show. It was a tremendous success with a staggering footfall of almost 117,000 people. Alas, the weather forecast was pretty dire which meant that there were slightly fewer visitors than last year.
However, we were blessed with fantastic weather on all three days and we managed to catch up with some existing customers and meet some new ones. It’s the biggest agricultural show in the county and we are proud to have been part of it.
Checking everything out
There weren’t many quiet moments, but we managed to get around the grounds and feed our love for the industry on Saturday afternoon.
We especially enjoyed the RAF Falcons’ parachute display and a pretty thrilling performance from the Bolddog Lings – freestyle motocross team. The Countess of Wessex was in attendance and she spent Thursday and Friday touring various stands and events.
We also heard from industry peers that a roaring trade was enjoyed across the weekend; one machinery dealer managed to sell 20 machines over the weekend, which just goes to show our local economy is thriving.
Photo ops
We snapped a few pictures while we were exploring the grounds and we’ve popped these up on our Facebook page. Head over, check them out and let us know which is your favourite!
While you’re there, give us a ‘like’ to be kept up-to-date on our latest offers and promotions.
See you next year?
We had such a great time that we’re already making plans to return to the show next year. So if you came this year, be sure to pop by and say hello again. If you didn’t make it, make sure you don’t miss out next year!
