Marquee weights designed for fast, non-invasive anchoring

When you need a safe, reliable way to anchor marquees, gazebos, fencing or cabins without ground fixings, 500kg concrete marquee weights are ideal.

Compact enough to handle easily, yet heavy enough to keep temporary structures stable in the wind, they are a proven alternative to metal or water-filled weights.

Each block features a lifting loop in the top and a pallet-truck recess at the base, so they can be offloaded and positioned quickly on site.

Product Features & Specifications of Marquee Weights

Our 500kg concrete marquee weights are engineered for strength, durability, and ease of use. Here’s how they simplify temporary anchoring.

Concrete strength: C40 mix

Cast with high-strength C40 concrete, these blocks are impact-resistant and durable, even after years of handling and repeated use.

Connection: flat edges (non-interlocking)

The blocks are designed with flat faces so they can be placed exactly where needed, without the limitations of interlocking shapes.

Edge detail: chamfered edges

Chamfered corners help reduce visible damage during handling and transport, keeping blocks looking presentable at public-facing event sites.

Concrete finish: moulded on all visible faces

Smooth moulded surfaces deliver a professional finish, while non-visible sides are hand trowelled.

Design life:  50 years+

Unreinforced, durable concrete ensures a long service life in UK conditions, far exceeding that of plastic or water weights.

Reinforcement cover: none

With no steel reinforcement inside the blocks, there’s no risk of corrosion, maintaining consistent performance over time.

Sizes & dimensions of 500kg marquee weights

Our 500kg marquee weights are compact for easy handling, but heavy enough to provide reliable anchoring. They come with a top lifting loop and pallet recess as standard, making them simple to manoeuvre on site.

Applications for 500kg ballast blocks

500kg marquee weights are widely used wherever temporary structures need safe, reliable anchoring without ground fixings. In event management, they secure marquees, gazebos, and staging.

On construction sites, they stabilise hoarding, fencing, and temporary cabins. They’re also used as scaffolding ballast when designs require a non-invasive counterweight.

Compact, versatile, and easy to reposition, they’re the preferred solution for contractors and event organisers who need practical anchoring they can rely on.

Site Setup & Security

“We have had the pleasure of working with JP Concrete for several years and have always found them to be very proactive. Lee is exceptionally responsive when we ask for costs, and he is excellent at making adjustments as needed without any hassle.

The team responsible for delivering and placing the blocks has been extremely helpful and patient with our installation team, especially since the blocks need to be spaced precisely. They always do a great job without fuss. We look forward to continuing our relationship with them.”
