1000kg concrete ballast block, is a non-invasive counterweight, designed to be installed for securing scaffolding, hoarding and marquees or facade retention. The kentledge blocks can be connected together to provide ballast for larger structures, such as cranes and wind-turbines.
Our range of kentledge blocks start at 500kg, which are more manoeuvrable and can be used to provide ballast for smaller structures. If it is only a temporary structure, then the ballast blocks can also be hired. For situations where our standard block size or weight does not meet your exact requirements, we can also manufacture bespoke kentledge blocks. The blocks can be customised to suit your preferred lifting & fixing method including, cast-in in holes, additional lifting points, eye-bolts and HALFEN channels.
The ballst blocks can also be used in marine projects. Our low-carbon concrete mix is designed for use in salt-water environments, so they can be used as - sinker blocks, mooring weights and bouy anchors.
