Slurry Channels
The precast slurry channels are designed to allow for the flow of slurry to, or between storage tanks. The slurry flows freely along the smooth mould finished surface of the channels using gravity combined with water in the channel. Transfer channels reduce the need to agitate manure inside farm buildings.
The concrete slurry channels are available in two sizes: 1000mm wide x 1000mm high x 2400mm long; and 810mm wide x 500mm high x 2400mm long. The system has been designed for rapid installation. The units fit together using a tongue and groove joint which can be easily sealed for a water tight joint. In addition to our standard slurry channel units; precast end units complete with outlet holes are also available on request.
We also supply a variety of covers for the slurry channels; diagonal slatted covers measuring 1000mm x 2400mm x 7” are available in two types; standard cattle slats and vehicle loading slats. Solid covers designed to suit our slurry channels also available.
